Stripey Stork Duke of Edinburgh volunteering

We can accommodate Bronze, Silver and Gold students who need to complete regular volunteering hours. Tasks will include sorting clothing, making up activity packs, hygiene packs and school bags, checking and cleaning equipment such as highchairs and travel cots to make sure all donated items are ready to go out to families in need. Placements will also involve group fundraising, and contributing to our research to help us develop the service we offer to teenagers needing support in Surrey and Croydon.Students are guided by one of our team of Volunteer Coordinators and some of our adult volunteers who generously give up their time to help with the sessions, sharing their knowledge of Stripey Stork’s processes to help students learn the ropes. All supervising adults are fully DBS checked, and there is always a first aid-trained member of staff on site.
